About Us

Hello, my name is Lisa Garza. I am a pharmacist specializing in travel medicine. I am here to make it easy and convenient for you to the care you need for your trip.  

My 8 years of professional experience in travel medicine has taught me how to help people stay healthy while abroad, no matter where they are going or why. It is exciting and rewarding to be a part of someone’s trip, whether it is a long delayed honeymoon, a visit to family and friends or even a visit for work. There are so many places to explore and so many reasons to do it. But none of them involve getting sick and I am here to help you avoid that. 

I know from personal experience that being sick while abroad is far from ideal. I have had the opportunity to visit a variety of places including Vietnam, Mexico, Japan and Australia. Those experiences have given me a great appreciation for both the benefits and the challenges of international travel. I look forward to helping others have the best trip possible. 

In addition to being the founder of Odyssey, I also teach at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. 

On days off, you can find me with my husband, son, and our pet corgi exploring parks and cafes around Seattle.
