Following your virtual consultation, all prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred local retail pharmacy (e.g., Costco, CVS, Walgreens, or an independent pharmacy) anywhere in Washington State for convenient pickup.

The ideal window is 4 to 6 weeks or more before departure. This allows enough time for any multi-dose vaccine series to build immunity and ensures your prescription kits are filled well before you pack. However, even if you are traveling on shorter notice, a consult can still provide critical standby medications and risk reduction strategies.

Unlike some traditional brick-and-mortar travel clinics that charge opaque administrative and facility fees, Odyssey provides transparent pricing for all virtual consultations. We charge $99 per person for a full comprehensive travel consultation. You receive a dedicated 1-on-1 evaluation of your itinerary, destination-specific health risks, and necessary prescriptions sent directly to your pharmacy with no hidden charges.

Coverage depends on your specific plan, but most travel health providers do not bill insurance directly. Odyssey does not bill insurance for consultations, but you can use HSA/FSA funds or request an itemized receipt with all required clinical details and diagnostic codes to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Prescriptions we order (such as malaria pills or traveler’s diarrhea standby kits) and routine vaccines are billed directly through your standard prescription insurance when you pick them up at your local pharmacy.
